1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using WebNotes, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

WebNotes is a website annotation tool that allows teams to leave feedback notes on web pages. You install a script on your website and your team can click elements and leave notes that are tracked through a dashboard.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

4. Acceptable Use

You may only install the WebNotes embed script on websites you own or have authorization to annotate. You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Post offensive, abusive, or harassing content in notes
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Abuse the API or overload the service
• Install the embed script on websites without authorization

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the notes and content you create. By using the service, you grant us a license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the service. We may remove content that violates these terms.

6. Project Limits

Free accounts are limited to a set number of projects. These limits may change. We reserve the right to modify limits with reasonable notice.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

WebNotes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss, service interruptions, or security incidents.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
